A $1 Million Milestone for Muslim Philanthropy
Last year, the Muslim Impact Forum awarded $150,000 to initiatives reshaping Muslim philanthropy.
With Mercy Mission, the leading charity custodian, specializing in working with partners to optimize the impact of their giving we are deploying $1 million across standout organizations – providing a level of backing to fundamentally change the trajectory of purpose-driven charities with an annual income of under $3 million.
It reflects our belief that smaller, high-performing organizations with strong track records, often operating with limited margins, deserve access to the kind of investment that can shift their long-term trajectory.
By directing $1 million to the chosen organizations, the fund aims to alleviate pressures that typically hold ambitious teams back, such as resource constraints, delayed expansion plans, and the inability to act on time-sensitive opportunities.
This is more than just funding. It is an opportunity to set a benchmark for what Muslim-led philanthropy can achieve when excellence receives backing at this scale.

Before applying, take a moment to ensure your organization aligns with the Fund’s criteria. The application form will guide you through all of the required details and documents, including registration information and evidence of impact.
You’ll also be asked to share an impact report demonstrating outcomes from previous work.

Step 1: Submit your Application
Kindly provide us with all the necessary details for your chance to win $1 million in funding. Applications close 31st January 2026.
Step 2: Review & Shortlist
All applications are reviewed by an expert panel, following recognized grant-making standards. Shortlist will be announced by 15th February 2026.
Step 3: Interviews with Funding Team
Shortlisted organizations will be invited for an interview with representatives of the Fund to discuss their proposal in more depth.
Step 4: Winner Announced at MIF 2026
Following the interviews, the winners will be notified and invited to present their charity at Muslim Impact Forum 2026.
