Confronting Global Injustice Through Unified Philanthropy
Rt. Hon. Humza Yousaf MSP, former First Minister of Scotland, is a long-standing political leader with a global profile. Speaking at the Global Donors Forum 2025 in Istanbul, he draws on his personal journey as a Western Muslim to connect today’s global crises with the need for unity and compassion.
He highlights the collapse of humanitarian norms, the rise of anti-Muslim hatred, and the devastating realities of Gaza. He calls for philanthropy rooted in empathy and solidarity, urging Muslim leaders to invest in the next generation as the greatest legacy for a fractured world.
